BT136 Traic

A BT136 TRIAC is a three-terminal semiconductor switching device used to control AC (alternating current) power.. Its terminals are MT1, MT2, and Gate, and a small signal applied to the Gate can control current flowing between MT1 and MT2. It is commonly used in AC light dimmers, fan speed controllers, heaters, motor controllers, and home automation projects. Because it can work with mains voltage, circuits using a BT136 require proper electrical isolation and safety precautions.
